Dexheimer was the son of Alfred and Clara (Behrens) Dexheimer. He had been married previously to Victorica Guyla Becker of Kingston, Illinois, who was born 26 July 1915 and died 2 October 1958 at La Mesa. June Margaret Kirkpatrick modeled for Neiman-Marcus Department Stores in Texas in the 1940's. There were no children by her third marriage. In 1983 they were living in El Cajon, San Diego County, California.
