The Banner Press, Marble Hill, Missouri, September 21, 1972: Louis A. Kirkpatrick, 62 years old of Glen Allen, died Sunday in the General Hospital in Chaffee. Mr. Kirkpatrick, a farmer and timber-worker, was born August 31, 1910 at Patton and spent his entire life in Bollinger Co. He was a member of the Methodist Church of Glen Allen. On February 15, 1938 he married Miss Fern Eaker who survives. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. John Cyle of Glen Allen and Mrs. James Riley of Lutesville; three sons, Eugene Kirkaptrick of Bell Gardens, Calif., William Kirkpatrick of Long Beach, Calilf. and Charles Kirkpatrick of Glen Allen; his mother, Mrs. Ersa Kirkpatrick of Glen Allen; two sisters, Mrs. Jess McElvain of Glen Allen, and Mrs. Charles [ ] of Cottage Hills, Ill.; two brothers Joe W. Kirkpatrick Glen Allen and Odell Kirkpatrick of Granite City, Ill; 19 grandchildren. Chapel services were Wednesday at Ward Furneral Home in Lutesville. Burial was in McGee Chapel Cemetery west of Glen Allen.
