Heffernan, age 69 died on Monday, September 5, 1977 at the Kewaunee Hospital. She was born February 27, 1908 in Harrison township, Grant County to the late Benjamin F. and Vie Bayly Culver. Mrs. Heffernan was a teacher all of her life and was married to Robert C. Heffernan June 17, 1933 at Galena, IL. He preceded her in death March 2, 1972. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. David (Nancy) Smidle, Kewaunee, Mrs. James (Judy) Rundle, Annandale, Vir., Mrs. Larry (Mary) DeMuth, Waukesha; two brothers, Ernest Culver, Platteville, Jerry B. Culver, LaCrosse; eight grandchildren; a great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister. Friends may call after 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 8 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee and on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at Whig Methodist Church, Platteville. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery, Platteville.
