Doris Elaine Heston was born 3 March 1934. She married Robert M. Trout, who was born 23 June 1931.

Daily Gate City, Keokuk, Iowa, Wednesday, January 10, 2007: March 11, 1934 - Jan. 5, 2007 Victor---Doris E. Trout, 72, of Victor, died on Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at her home. She was born on March 11, 1934, in Keokuk, to Arthur and Florence Johnson Heston. She was raised in the Keokuk area and attended the rural Galland Country School. She later attended public schools in Keokuk and graduated from Keokuk High School. On April 26, 1949, she married Robert M. Trout in Kahoka, Mo. The couple lived in Keokuk until 1958, when they moved to Bonaparte. In 1962, the family moved to Victor and she was a homemaker and later was a bookkeeper for Ladora Mineral Inc. and at the Western Auto Store in Victor. She served on the Victor Library Board for more than 20 years. Survivors include: four daughters, Sandra Sebetka and her husband, Ronald, of Cedar Rapids, Susan Trout Reisdorph and her husband, Michael, of Cedar Rapids, Linda Williams and her husband, Joseph, of Victor and Cindy Smith and her husband, Kevin, also of Victor; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew and Stacey Reisdorph, Chad Williams and his wife, Carrie, Nicholas Williams, and Joshua, Jacie and Jordan Smith; a great-grandson, Carson Williams; and a brother, Fred Heston of Nashville, Ill. She was preceded in death by parents; her husband; and a sister, Annette Benedict. A private family service will be at the Victor Memorial Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home of Victor is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Victor Library or to the Robert Trout Scholarship Fund of the HLV High School in Victor.
