Garretson, 48, died July 5 in Memorial hospital here after a brief illness. Garretson was associated with a home building firm. Most of Garretson's life was spent in Henry county. He was born on Aug. 12, 1907. On May 23, 1931, he married Ann Roberts of Mt. Pleasant. She survives as do two sons and a daughter, Wayne T. Garretson, Jr., Burlington; Lace Garretson at home; and Mrs. Carol Ann Abbodessa, living in Germany.
