Friends may call 9:3010:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sheil-Colonial Funeral Home, 11924 E. 47th St., Kansas City, MO, 64133. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. James Anglican Church, 8107 Holmes, Kansas City, MO, or the Veterans Home in Warrensburg, MO. James was born June 9, 1918, in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Northeast High School, the University of Missouri-Columbia, and Georgetown School of Law, served as an officer in WWII, and retired as a Lt. Col. in the Army Reserve. He was a practicing attorney in Independence, MO, for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and wife of 52 years, Florence. He is survived by son James W. Gillham, Parkville, MO; daughter Mary Solomon and spouse Lynn, Warrensburg, MO; grandson Scott Solomon, Overland Park, KS; granddaughter Jana Solomon; and several nieces and nephews. (Arr.
