Beryl Vaughn Grant was born 19 October 1908 in Wynona, Osage County, Oklahoma. On 25 December 1927 she married at Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas, Arthur Stuart Davenport, son of Charles Henry and Betty (Steward) Davenport. he was born 21 August 1903 in Glenn, Carter County, Indian Territory-Oklahoma. In 1956 they were living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma.
There were four (4) children born of the marriage.

She and Arthur were married on Christmas Day, 1927. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, working with others in Sunday School activities and especially enjoyed providing spirited piano accompaniment for the Mr. and Mrs. Class at Westminister Presbyterian Church. She was a real help-mate to her husband in the establishment and promotion of his business and was always a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend throughout her adult life. Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Novella Grant; her husband, Arthur; and two daughters, Peggy Lou Davenport and Delores Ann Dowling. She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Daryl and Richard Beadles of Oklahoma City and Jane and David Nelson of Plano, TX and Ann's husband, Matt Dowling; six grandchildren, Tom Beadles and his wife Mary, Laura Feix and her husband Terry, Elaine Dowling and her husband Monty Walls [mistake] & 3:00 that same day at Westminister Presbyterian Church. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Westminster Church or the charity of your choice. Beryl lived a life of service for others and now has reached her eternal rest.
