Among survivors is a son, John Bennett Cornwell Jr. of Spartanburg. Memorial services will be at 7:45 a.m. today at the Bethea Baptist Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Evergreen Cemetery in Chester. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Chester. Water-Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
