(Polly) Mary RANDALL
(5 Jun 1789 - Dec 1812)
Zera Pulsipher married 4 times: 1. (Polly) or Mary Randell 6 Nov 1810, in Ispswich,Newton, Massachusetts. She lived with him about one year, long enough to bare him one daughter whom he named Harriett. At age 21 Zera married (Polly) or Mary Randell who died at childbirth before he joined the Church. He described her as a very agreeable companion. He makes no further mention of his daughter, Harriett. In a few weeks after her death she appeared to him in a vision. she appeared very natural, and as pleasant as she ever did in life. She sat by his side and assisted him in singing a hymn, beginning thus: "That glorious day is drawing nigh, when Zion's light shall shine." This she did with seeming composure. The vision took away all the anxiety of his mind concerning her, in-as-much as she seemed to enjoy herself, well. This hymn which she introduced and sang with him, applied to the great work of the Last Dispensation of the Fullness of Times. This vision transpired about ten years before JOSEPH SMITH had his first vision. His mind was calmed respecting her condition in the Spirit World. 1.
