She died by fire while lying on her bed. See Pulsipher History Pg 99-100.

!Married to Zera Pulsipher, Died age 70 on 27 Feb 1883 in Hebron, Utah by fire. Her log cabin was within a rod of the John Pulsipher home. She was called Aunt Prudence and she had no children. In Zera's last will and testiment she is mentioned as one of his heirs. He gives the date he married each of his other three wives but he makes no reference to Prudence. They saved the body from being consumed by the fire at day break and her bed and not all of her clothing were not burned up. The Salt Lake newspaper listed her death as Prudence Pulsipher, widow of the late Zera Pulsipher. Her body was laid to rest a little south of her husband's.
