Individual Details
Horace DEPUY
(1817 - Bet 1860 and 1870)
The 1850 Census mentions Horace in Lysander working as a boatman with his wife, Caroline who is 30, and children: Sarah, 10; John, 7; Hulbert, 4; and Mary, 1.
As of 5-2011 I have yet to prove who the parents of Horace are. He may be a son of Benjamin Jr. He IS NOT a son of Moses but may be a son of another of the oldest sons of Benjamin Jr. This is still a work in progress.
Horace dies probably in Illinois and (from memory) probably resides in Joliet (or something similar). He dies and Caroline remarries. I have this record at home and is not yet in this database.
