Clayton R. Goheen, 73, of 571 Lakeshore Dr., Wooden Shoe Village, died Mon day, March 16, in the Midland Hospital Center. Born in Butman Township on October 25, 1907, he spent most of his life in Gladwin County. Mr. Goheen farmed in Gladwin Township until 1953 when he went to work at Rohr Aircraft in Riverside, Calif, as a tooling inspector. He moved back to Gladwin County in 1969. He was a member of the Gladwin Masonic Lodge 397 F. & A.M.; Bay City Consistoryand the Gladwin F.O.E. 3292. Surviving are one son, Richard of Gladwin; 2 daughters, Mrs. Emil (Priscilla) Ziemer of Gladwin and Mrs. Dean (Yvonne) Dunning of Saginaw; one brother, Andrew of Flint; 3 sisters, Mrs. Violet Roy of Flint, Mrs. Martha Moore and Mrs. Pearl Nead of Gladwin; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Mathews Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Butman Cemetery. A Masonic Memorial Service will be he ld Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Mathews Funeral Home. Memorials may be left at the funeral home for the Shriners crippled children.
