LILLIE GOHEEN
Mrs Lillie May Goheen, 91, of Gladwin, died Wednesday, April 3, at a nursing home in Midland, following a long illness. Born in Indiana September 19, 1882, she came to Gladwin County in 1891. The former Lillie May Brown and Elder Israel J. Goheen were married in Gladwin January 30, 1899, and he preceded her in death May 20, 1950.
Surviving are 2 sons, Clayton of Gladwin and Andrew of Flint; 3 daughters, Mrs. Violet Roy of Flint, Mrs. Martha Faler of Gladwin, and Mrs. Pearl Nead of Luther; 15 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild. Services were held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin, with Elder Clarence Diem officiating. Burial was in Butman Township Cemetery.

Our sympathy goes to the Martha Faler family on the death of their mother and grandmother, Lillie M. Goheen, who passed away April 3. The funeral was last Saturday in Gladwin County.
