Birth
Almond O. Goheen, 75, died on Thursday, June 12, at his home in Gladwin. Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at the Butman Latter Day Saints church, with the Elder Pendleton officiating. Burial was in the Butman cemetery.Mr. Goheen was born in Sanilac county on February 9, 1872. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Goheen. On February 11, 1894 he was married to Miss Margaret Harris in Gladwin county.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; four sons, William of Clio, Elmer of Hillman, Percy of Standish, and Joseph of Flint; one daughter, Mrs. Rosa May Sanders of Flint; one sister, Mrs. Olive Lapp of Port Huron; three brothers, Israel, Thomas, and Eber of Gladwin; 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
