EBER GOHEEN, A LIFELONG RESIDENT

Eber A. Goheen, 70, of Sherman Township, a lifelong resident of Gladwin County, died this morning, Dec. 28, at St. Mary's Hospital, Saginaw, following a four months illness.
Services will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home with Eldery Alva Pendleton officiating. Burial will be in Butman Cemetery.
Born in Sherman Township, August 14, 1896, Mr. Goheen was a farmer and lumberman. He was married to the former Hazel Keezer July 17, 1915 in Sherman Township. Mr. Goheen was a member of the Butman Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church.
Survivors include his wife Hazel; five daughters, Mrs. Veda Hay of Belleville, Mrs. Dorothy Smith of Roscommon Cunty, Mrs. Ethel Pickard of Gladwin, Mrs. Edna Matthews of Charlotte, and Mrs. Lillian Simpson of Midland; two sons, Leonard of Memphis, Mich., and Maynard of Mt. Clemens; 27 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Goheen, of West Branch. Gladwin County Record dated 12-28/1966
