Death
James VaughnFletcher - Services have been set for 2:30 pm Thursday in the Fletcher Baptist church for James William Vaughn, 83, who died Tuesday in a Lawton Hospital.
Vaughn was born April 24, 1874 in Montgomery, Ala. His wife died in March of 1955.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs E E Baggett, of San Antonio, Tex.; six sons, Olenn of Aliciam Ark.; Herman of Altus; Travis of Chickcasha; Elbert of Wichitam\, Kan.; Eulys of Englewood, Calif.; and Shelton of Englin; a brother, John of Quintman, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs Lona Deuson, Elgin; Mrs Robert Cave, Garland, Tex.; and Mrs W J Underwood and Mrs. W A Deuson both of Quitman, Tex.; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Rev Melvin Moody pastor of Flecher Baptist church will officiate at the services: Burial will be in Elgin cemetery under the direction of Dalton Funeral home of Fletcher.
