Accused Slayer is Free on Heavy BondFort Davis, Dec 1
Bonds of $10,000 were set for Jimmy Henderson today by Judge William Granger, Henderson was accused of slaying his father-in-law, William Clay Farris, 74, on Nov 14, and fatally wounding his wife, Pearl Farris Henerson, who died of gunshot wounds.
Billy Henderson of Tornillo, [El Paso County] brother of the defendant, signed the bonds, and the latter was released from the county jail which had held him since the alleged killings.
Acting district attorney Bill Holland of Marfa [Presidio County] said Henderson was to report for the January term of court in Jeff Davis county.

Slaying case CalledVan Horn, Oct 16 (AP) The case of J C Henderson, Jeff Davis county rancher charged in connection with the slaying of his wife, Pearl Henderson, and her father, W C Farris, at a Henderson Ranch home near Alpine Nov 14, will be called for trial in 34 district court here Tuesday.
