Death
Mrs. Chauncey N. Goheen, aged 73, of 737 George avenue, died at 12:35 p.m.Sunday in her home after an illness of five and a half years. She was born in South Bend, March 13, 1865, and had lived here all her life.Surviving is her husband, Chauncey N. Goheen; four children, Mrs. LeRoy Bush, Miss Vinnie E. Goheen, Miss Edna A. Goheen and Roland W. Goheen, all of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Ann Goheen, of South Bend; two brothers, John Peter Welches, of South Bend, and Joseph Welches, of Chicago; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Friends will be received in the home until 10 a.m. Wednesday and then in the A.M. Russell chapel until the time of the service to be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Lawrence C. Ferguson, rector of St. James Episcopal church, officiating. Burial will be in Higland cemetery. Mrs. Goheen was a member of Women's Relief corps of Auten post No. 14, G.A.R.
