I John C Goheen of Clay Center, Clay County, Kansas being fifty-five (55) years of age and sound mind and memory do hereby make and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, and I herby revoke and all wills or codicils by me heretofore made.First To my wife Rebecca E Goheen, I give devise and bequeath all of my personal property, which includes, with all my other personal property, an undivided three fourth (3/4) interest in the mercantile business of John C Goheen has now conducted at Morganville Kansas to be hers absolutely.
Second To My said wife, Rebecca E Goheen, I give devise and bequeath for her life time only, all of my real estate and at her death, I give and devise my real estate share and share alike to my seven children, to wit; George W M Goheen, Herbert Verner Goheen, James William Goheen, Harvey Fremont Goheen, Ida Ruth Goheen, Ira Lee Goheen, and John Calvin Goheen subject, however to the trusteeship hereafter provided as the share of my said child, George W M Goheen and subject the limitations of his estate as in the next paragraph of this will set forth.
The share of my real estate which may by the terms of this will become the property of George W M Gohee, I give devise ad bequeath into the hiands of a suitable trustee to be appoited and named by the Probate Court, which trustee shell control and manage the share and property of my said son George W M Goheen, according to law and under the direction of the Probate Court, for the best interests of my said son, and is my will that if any portion of suvh share commited to said son, George W M Goheen, such remaining part of such shaarre shall be and is hereby given, devised and bequeath to the two full brothers of my said son last mentioned to Herbert Verner Goheen and James William Goheen, or to the survivor of them, if wither of my said last two mentioned children shall die before my son George W M Goheen.
Fouthe I hereby name and appoint my said wife Rebecca E Goheen dto be the exedutrix of this y last wil and testament and it is my request that she be not required by Probate court to five bond as uch executrix. In witness whereof I give hereunto set my hand at Clahy Center, Kansas. December 2, 1907
