Obituary: Miss Belle Goheen
Former Tyrone Resident died at Rock Spring Friday Evening
Miss Belle Goheen, a former resident of Tyrone, very peacefully passed away at the home of her sister Mrs Ella Gardner at Rock Spring, Pa., at 4 pm Friday.
Miss Goheen was a daughter of the late John and Sarah Rider Goheen and was born on the rock Spring farm October 28, 1855, where most of her life was spent. About twenty year ago she moved to 8556 Lincoln avenue where she resided until two year ago when falling health forced her to give up her home here and reside with her sister at Rock Spring. Having united with the Presbyterian church at Graysville when very young, she was one of its most active members and her beautiful Christian life and character was an inspiration to all those who came under her influence, and her passing will be deeply felt by her only surviving sister, Mrs Ella Gardner, and brother Robert Goheen, of Baileyville. She was a sister of the late J c and J M Goheen of Tyrone.
Funderal services will be conducted by her pastor in Graysville church Monday at 2:30 pm Interment in Graysville cemetery
