Birth
Born in Bellville, Ill or rather near the present city of Bellville. She ius sister of Hugh, Thomas Asbury and William Harrison. Her father was Thomas Harrison, born December 13 1779, in York Co., S.C. moved to Rutherford Co., North Carolina then to Georgia. In 1800 he married iss Margaret Gilbreath. Moved to Territory of Illinois in 1804.Marriage
Tanscribed records by Buecher indicate Marriage was 10 December 1846. This may be the date of application of license. Further research is needed.In 1846 she married to Dr. S. M. E. Goheen. He was practing medicine in Lebanon. Ill., and was also professor in McKendree College at that time.
