Marriage
A Double WeddingLast night a 7 o'clock at the residence of Mrs. M. A.Hall in north Dallas, a quiet double wedding was solemnized, when her two daughters. Misses May and Myrtle, were united in marriage, the former to Dr. Price Cheaney of this city and the later to Mr. Robert Samuel Goble of Ferris, Rev. George W Truett of the First Baptist church officiating. At the appointed hour Prog. W. C. Steer played Mendelsohn's wedding march and the procession led by Rev. George W Truett, started for the parlor altar. The two grooms followed accompanying each other, and next came the two brides, carrying bride's roses and accompanied by their brother Dr. Frank Prof. W. C. Steer played Mendelssohn's after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs Goble accompanied by Dr. and Mrs Cheaney their brother, Dr Hall. Misses Alice Taylor, Ada Smith and Lillian McLemore, Dr. J. W. Bourland and Mrs Boyd Brown, were escorted to the union depot, where they took the southbound train for their home at Ferris. Dr and Mrs Cheaney will be at home corner State street and Fairmount avenue. Only the following immediate relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony: Mrs. M. A. Hall, Mrs Joseph Cheaney, Mrs A. R Dansboe and family of Alvin, Miss Wini Cheaney, Dr. F. J. Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Luther E Hamilton. Misses Gussie, Annie and Jessie Cheaney, Mr W. H. Abrams, Mrs. L. L. Marks of El Paso, Mr. and Mrs. Lillian McLemore, Ada Smith and Alice Taylor, Prof, and Mrs. W. C Steer, Dr. J. W. Bourland, Mrs George W. Truett, and Messrs. Boyd, Brown and Carl Palmer

Goble - Robert S age 60 years died Thursday morning at his home. 4227 Cedar Srping. Survived by wife, Mrs Myrtle Hall Goble; one son, Robert H Goble of Sherman, one grandson. Funeral Services 2 p.m. Friday from Westminster Presbyterian Church, Rev. Gutzke officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements with Ed. C Smith & Bro.
