Potter-McWilliamsYesterday (Wednesday) morning at 8:00 o'clock, Harry W Potter and Miss Nancy McWilliams were united in marriage by Rev H. D. Flemming of the Presbyterian church and pastor of the bride. Te ceremony was performed at the Wm. H. McWilliams home at Rock Springs, in the presence of the immediate relative of the families of the participants. During the breakfast Miss Elizabeth Goheen rendered selections on the piano and finally drifted to Lohengrin's wedding march, and then came the ceremony.
The bride was attired in a brown ensemble suit of duvetyn.
The couple are now off on a tour to New York, Niagara Falls, Thousand Island, and other points.
Both bride and groom are favoably know locally. The former for two years was associate cashier at the First National Bank at Centre Hall, and in that capacity was efficient. She is an accomplished musician and has given both instrumental and vocal music much attention.
The groom is a son of Joshua T Potter and at present is engaged with the Butler Oil company. The bungalow that will become the home of the couple is well on in construction and is pretty in architectural design. Their homecoming will be awaited with much interest.

Born at Potter Township Centre County, Dec 16, 1882, he was the son of Joshua Taylor ad Martha McCormick Potter. On Oct 15, 1925 he married the former Nancy McWilliams, who died Jan 13, 1961. Surviving are these children:
Mrs Charles G Homes, Camp Hill; Rev Taylor M Potter, Bangkok, Thailand; Mrs James R Meyer, Melbourne Florida; Dr William F Potter, Elgin AFB, Fla.
In addition he is survived by nine grandchildren and one sister Miss Mary Delinda Potter of Centre Hall.
He was a retired bookkeeper having been employed in State College tax collector's office. He attended the Centre Hall schools and the Lebanon Business College.
He was a member of the Centre Hall Presbyterian Church where he served in most of the official capacities, the Centre Hall Fire Company, the Alpha Lodge 212 of the F and A M of Tacoma, Washington; the Everett Consistory, Everett, Wash; and the Jaffa Shrine of Altoona.
He served as patron of the Order of the Eastern Star 207 of Centre Hall for 29 years and was a 50-year member of the Masons.
He was also a former member of the Past Matron and Patron Association.
