Clarion County Page 142 Will book ALast will and testament of James Goheen Sen. Decd
The last will and testament of James Goheen Sen of Porter Township clarion County- I James Goheen sen considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and memory (blessed be Almighty God for the same) do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say first I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary the sum of one hundred dollars. I give and bequeath my son Davis five dollars and to my daughters Elizabeth and Ruth each five dollars and to my youngest son George W Goheen five dollars which said several sums of money I will and order to be paid to the said respective legatees within one year after my decease. I further give and devise to my son James Goheen Jr all that messauges or tenement situate in Porter Township and county aforesaid to him the said James Goheen Jr his heirs and assigns forever and lastly as to all the rest of my personal estate, goods & chattels of what nature and kind soever I give and bequeath the same to my son James who I hereby appoint sole executer of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the thirtieth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one.

Signed sealed published and declared by the above James Goheen sen to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence subscribed out names as witnesses thereunto.
