DORAN ASA COREY

The Queensbury 1901 census lists a son, "Asma D. Corey," born 4 Apr 1890, aged 10. This is the child later called Doran, and Christina Corey-LeMoine gives the correct spelling of his middle name as 'Asa.' The family lived in Bear Island NB, Where Doran did a little farming, but mostly "woodsed." It is said that Murray was born on Doran's 21st birthday, but given the date of birth in the 1901 census, this is more likely to have been his 22nd birthday. [Corey Book]
