JENNIE A. COREY

At the time of her death her age was described as "two years, ten months." Her death was the first of the disasters that was to strike this family in the next few years. Her father had just accepted a new Ministry in Saint John, ans was there making arrangements for his new life, when he was "called to Springfield by telegram announcing the illness of his little daughter." She died of "diphtheric coup" one week before William was installed as Pastor of Portland Baptist Church, Saint John. [Corey Book]
