Fremont Rider book: Educated at Milford schools, Wellesley College and Pratt Institute of Home Economics. Taught home economics at Holyoke, Massachusetts H.S. and Simmons College, Boston, Massachusetts. Then was table director of the Lake Placid Club, in charge of housing and feeding its 1000 guests. She supervised 400 employees and five dining rooms successfully for four years until her marriage. Her pleasant personality and attractive disposition made her much loved. The Godfrey Memorial Library, Middletown, Connecticut is a memorial to her and her brother.
