Fremont Rider book: Never married. University professor and playwright. Could have also been born in Oberlin, Michigan. Educated at Phillips Andover Academy, Harvard 1897, Leipzig and Berlin Universities. Author of "The Little Clay Cart," 1905; "Women's Eves," 1910; "Kalidasa" 1912; "Twenty two Goblins," 1917: "Relatives," 1919; "The Panchatantra," 1925; "Gold's Gloom," 1925; "The Ten Princes," 1927. Most of his writings are translations or adaptions of poems and plays from the Sanskit. On the faculty University of California Member Phi Beta Kappa.
