Larry Earle Hoffpauir, 62 of Orangefield, Texas died Monday, January 24, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Orange. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Bridge City. Officiating will be Reverend Ed Rawls of Silver Oaks Baptist Church in Mauriceville. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home in Bridge City. Larry was born in Orange, Texas on July 22, 1942. He was the son of Woodrow Wilson "Pete" and Dorothy (Youngman) Hoffpauir. He was a life long resident of Orangefield and had retired from DuPont Sabine River Works where he had worked as a Ethylene specialist. He was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow Wilson "Pete" Hoffpauir and a brother, Robert Eugene Hoffpauir. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Norma Hoffpauir of Orangefield; mother, Dorothy Hoffpauir of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Judy Hoffpauir of Hemphill; daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Pat Meeks of Bridge City; sons and daughters-in-law Todd and Kristine Hoffpauir of Vidor, Joseph and Jennifer Ortego of Sulphur, LA, James Randy and Brandi Hoffpauir of Vidor; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Mark Marshall of Orangefield; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Melanie Hoffpauir of Vidor; nineteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, John Ivy and Elaine Hoffpauir of Gonzales, TX; and sister-in-law, Willie Jaye Hoffpauir of Kirbyville. Serving as Pallbearers are Joe Pincher, Langston Falls, Tommy Polk, Joe Loupe, Bo Henley, Danny Odom, Darrell Woodard and Martin Brodnax.
