Funeral services for Hazel Webb Hoffpauir, 83, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, in Johnson Funeral Home.
The Rev. J.P. Miles will officiate. Burial will be in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Saturday.
Mrs. Hoffpauir died at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2000, in a local hospital.
A native of Wildersville, Tenn., she lived in Lake Charles for 52 years. She was one of the first civilian employees at the Lake Charles Air Force Base at Chennault after World War II. From 1963-1976, she lived in Pasadena, Texas, where she worked in accounting for NASA and was at the space center when the first man landed on the moon. She was a member of First Baptist Church for 52 years and was secretary of the Ruth Sunday school class.
Survivors include three sons, James L. Hoffpauir of Lake Charles, Donald L. Hoffpauir of McKinney, Texas, and William W. Hoffpauir of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home P.O. Box 4196 Monroe, LA 71211, the family said.
