Peggy A. Smith, 74, a 42 year resident of Forest Park, passed away October 27, 2004. Mrs. Smith was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hapeville. She was also employed at St. John School as a librarian for 17 years. Survivors include two daughters, Angela Alinger of Forest Park and Carol Whitmire of Atlanta; son, Christopher Smith of Stockbridge; one granddaughter, Christina Smith and one half-sister, Shirley Rome of Baton Rouge, LA. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
