BIOGRAPHY: W. W. Noland, who died in Riverside, California, was twic e elected T reasurer of Madison County. It was at the residence of Mr . Noland that the fir st United Brethren Church Society was organized . They built a brick house for worship in 1840 on the farm of Mr. Nola nd.
