Her Godparents wer e Andrew and Mary Ann O'Neill (note the spelling of their last name) . In the US, she worked in Cleveland Heights a s a nanny and also, a t times, cleaned offices at City Hall. Ma was short and v ery heavy a s she grew older, and definitely "ruled the roost". Granddaughter J an e Kochenderfer remembers that Ma was a frequent maker of baked goods , breads and apple kuchens. Husband Pa would peel the apples. Both e njoyed palying Bin go on Sunday evenings. Pa was quite hard of hearin g at the time, but would go along with her anyway.
