BIOGRAPHY: Source - Graettinger Centenial Book: "Ralph Graettinger wa s born on April 24, 1911, on the farm where he lives today. He is th e son of George and T resa Graettinger. He attended rural school and g raduated from high school in 19 28. In 1937, Ralph married Rosella Do erning, the daughter of Arnold and Agnes Doerning who farmed east of G raettinger. Rosella graduated from the Graettinger High School in 193 2 and taught school in the rural area for one year before sh e and Ral ph married. The farm where Ralph now lives is a Century Farm. This m e ans that it has been owned and operated by some member of the famil y for one hu ndred years." In April of 2002, Ralph celebrated his 91s t birthday.
