BIOGRAPHY: Rachel had been only about 12 years old when her father die d. Rache l lived a fairly short life. She and husband James are on r ecord as having bee n members of the Jordon class (Stevens S.S.) India na Conference (Methodist) abo ut 1879 and maybe even earlier when Brit t Langdon was leader of that class, Rac hel Ellen died sometime betwee n 1884 and 1887 depending on which source one acc epts. BURIAL: Decen dants claim that she is buried in the Carolina Cemetery, Owen County , Indiana, but no such grave marker can be found with her name stil l visible.
