Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church for Daniel Fussy, 62, who died Wednesday at St. Gabriel's Hospital, Little Falls.Burial will be in the parish cemetery.Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday at Brenny Funeral Home, Royalton. Christian Mother's prayers will be at 4:30 p.m. today at the funeral home in Royalton, followed by Franciscan Sisters prayer service at 6 and parish prayers at 7.
Daniel Fussy was born in Royalton to John T. and Theresa (Maciej) Fussy. He was raised on a farm near Royalton. He later began working at the Royalton Grain Elevator where he eventually became co-owner.
He married Judy Klosowski on May 9, 1966, in Little Falls. He spent most of his life in the Royalton area and worked at the grain elevator until retiring in 1988. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where he was a church trustee. He also was a member of Royalton Sportsmen's Club, Duck's Unlimited, Minnesota Trapper's Association and National Rifle Association. He also had been a member of the National Guard.
Survivors include his wife; mother of Royalton; son and daughter, David of Rockville, and Milissa Walz of St. Joseph; sisters and brothers, Joy of Spooner, Wis., Loretta Richner of Elk River, Rita Thielen of Pierz, Ione Teff of Denver, Sister Stella OSF and Ted of Little Falls, and John of Royalton; and three grandchildren.
