HOLDINGFORD - Bernadine C. Wensman, 67, Route 1, died Saturday at St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Opole, with the Rev. Claude Schwinghammer officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends many call after 3:30 p.m. today at the Breeny and Son Funeral Home in Holdingford. Holdingford Senior Citizens will meet at the funeral home at 4 p.m. today, Women of the Moose will meet at 6:30, followed by Christian Mothers at 8, parish prayers at 8:30 and Catholic War Veteran's Auxiliary at 9.
Mrs. Wensman was born March 27, 1916 to the late Sam and Margaret Ebnet. She married Norbert Wensman on May 28, 1936, in St. Mary's Church, Holdingford. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Golden Agers of St. Cloud, Christian Mothers of Opole, Catholic War Veterans Auxiliary of Opole, Crosier Apostolate and Senior Citizens of St. Cloud.
Survivors include her husband; daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Margaret) Samec, Forest Lake; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Bernard, Avon; Lawrence, Aitkin; Norbert, St. Cloud; Mrs. Ralph (Christine) Mader and Mrs. Mike (Frances Breth), Holdingford; and Mrs. Richard (Helen) Root, Deerwood.
She was prededed in death by a son, James, and a brother, Victor.
