Duane P. Nathe, age 67, of Melrose died Saturday, November 16, 2002 at the Pine Villa Care Centre in Melrose. A graveside service will be Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at 11 a.m. in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Ward Springs.
Duane P. Nathe was born on November 14, 1935 in Madison, Minnesota to James and Margaret (Sonnen) Nathe. He was a member of the National Guard and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Duane is survived by his children, Joel Nathe of Bloomington and Laurie Nathe of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; brothers and sisters, Lorraine "Lou" Bitz (David) of Grey Eagle, James Nathe of Minneapolis, Nolan Nathe of St. Anthony, Frank Nathe (Nga) of Savage and Patricia Mollenhoff of Plymouth.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Steven Nathe. Memorials preferred to St. Michael's Hospice. Arrangements are with Patton-Schad Funeral Service of Grey Eagle.
