Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, for Edwin F. Fuchs, 85, of St. Cloud, who died Friday, December 2, at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery with full military honors. Friends may call Monday (TODAY) from 4-8 pm at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and after 9:30 am on Tuesday at the church. The St. Cloud VFW Granite Post #428 will pray at 6 pm, followed by Parish prayers at 6:30 pm.
Edwin was born on June 28, 1920, in Lake Henry to Martin and Mary (Reller) Fuchs. He married Helen Voigt in Winona and lived in Austin before moving to St. Cloud in 1956. He was employed by Red Owl for 35 years. Edwin was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and the St. Cloud VFW Granite Post #428.
Edwin is survived by his daughter Mary Ann DeMay, of Grand Island, NE; four grandchildren: Brad, Curt, Heather, and Jeff; two great grandchildren: Corbin, and Chelsea.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen, brothers and sisters: Pete, William (Bill), Richard, Belle, Tillie, Emmett, and Francis.
