Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre for Ervin Kohorst who died Wednesday at St. Michael's Hospital in Sauk Centre. Rev. James Statz will officiate with interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Parish prayers will be at 5:15 p.m. followed by Knights of Columbus and Christian Mothers at 7 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Mona Kohorst of Sauk Centre; two sons, Don (Loni) Kohorst and Bob (JoAnn) Kohorst, all of Sauk Centre; daughter-in-law, Linda Kohorst of Alexandria; seven grand-children; brothers and sisters, Mildred Kohorst, Robert Kohorst, Elmer (Aurie) Kohorst, LeRoy (Joyce) Kohorst, all of Albany, Jeanette Nistler and Arnold (Susan) Kohorst, all of Hamel, Melvin (Diane) Kohorst of Minneapolis, LuAnn (Jeff) Smith of Brainerd, Marlene (Allan) Schwinghamer of St. Cloud, Darlene (Frank) Cooper of Baton Rouge, Louisianna, and Viola (Joe) Hagman of Boise, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemens and Anna (Buerman) Kohorst; son, James Kohorst on Dec. 26, 1990.
