Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose for Ann Uhlenkamp who died Sunday at Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 to 10 a.m. at Patton Schad Funeral Home in Melrose. Parish prayers will be at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
Ann Uhlenkamp was born in Melrose to Bernard and Mary (Klein) Kramer. She married Alois Uhlenkamp on March 2, 1946 in Minneapolis. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryle Tyrpa of Buffalo; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Stacy Tyrpa; brothers and sisters, Bud Kramer, Ted Kramer, Louise Spehn, Alvina Spaeth and Veronica Wolf all of Melrose.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband on December 29, 1978; son, Dale Uhlenkamp on February 11, 1966; brothers and sisters, Marie Parish, Rose Illies, Alma, Helen, Leo, Henry and Ray Kramer.
