Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Brighton, for Bernadette Gillitzer, 74, formerly of the Watkins and St. Cloud area, who died Tuesday. Arrangements were made by Waterstown Memorial Chapel, New Brighton.
Bernadette Gillitzer was born in St. Nicholas to Mike and Wilhelmina (Stommes) Rausch. She married Sylvester Gillitzer in 1947.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey of New Brighton; two grandsons; and sisters and brother, Stella of Rockville, Marie Rousselange of Waite Park, and Mike of Cold Spring.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992; son, Ron in 1998; and sister, Viola Ashfeld in 1987.
