Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, Rockville, for Estella "Butch" Gillitzer, age 77, who died Sunday at her home. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m.
Estella was born in Luxemburg township to Michael and Wilhelmina (Stommes) Rausch. She married Walter Gillitzer on October 21, 1947 in St. Nicholas Catholic Church, St. Nicholas, MN. She was a member of Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Christian Women, and Birthline.
Survivors include her son Gary (Kim); sister, Marie Rousselange; brother, Michael Rausch; and 2 grandchildren, Maggie and Peter.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter on 2/15/1974, and sisters Viola Ashfeld and Bernadette Gillitzer. Memorials are preferred to Birthline Inc. of St. Cloud, MN.
