Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Marian M. Hallermann, age 70 of St. Cloud who passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Country Manor Health Care Center in Sartell after a long battle with cancer. Reverend Gregory Lieser will officiate. Entombment will be in the Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum in St. Cloud. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and after 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. St. Peter's Christian Women and the Legion of Mary will pray at 6:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.
Marian was born on May 19, 1936 in St. Rosa, Minnesota to Joseph and Bernadine (Scherping) Hollenkamp. She married Virgil A. Hallermann on May 24, 1955 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa. Marian was employed by Eye Kraft Optical and later by Vison-Ease in St. Cloud until her retirement in 1998. She lived in St. Cloud all of her married life. Marian enjoyed fishing, crocheting, crafts and playing cards. She was a member of St. Peter's parish, Legion of Mary and a former member of the Chrisitan Women.
Marian is survived by her husband, Virgil; son, Jeff and his wife Janet; two grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Liz and Jessica all of St. Cloud; three brothers, Dick (Dorothy) Hollenkamp, Sylvester (Nettie) Hollenkamp, Ronald (Beatrice) Hollenkamp all of St. Rosa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Virgil Hollenkamp. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
