Memorial Service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond for Susan Schaefer, age 57, who died Tuesday. Inurnment will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Cemetery, Richmond, MN. Relatives and friends may call from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond (151 Oakwood Ave. S.E.).
Sue was born in Richmond, MN to Edward and Eileen (Heying) Becker. She married Donald Schaefer on September 16, 1969 in St. Augustine's Catholic Church, St. Cloud. Sue was an employee of JC Penney's for 35 years. She loved golfing, jewelry, visiting her children and grandson.
Survivors include her children, Heidi of Los Angeles, CA and Peter of Buena Vista, CO; grandson, John "Jack"; brothers and sisters, Robert (Virginia) Becker, Nancy (Terry) Morrow, Carol Becker, Anne (Garmon) Tipka and Kay (Chuck) Nordhausen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Gregor and Helen Heying and Nick, Josephine and Ann Becker.
