Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Agnes M. Fischer age, 95 of St. Cloud who passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in St. Cloud. Family and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. on Monday at the church. Arrangements were by the Daniel Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Agnes was born on October 20, 1912 in Rockville Township, Stearns County, Minnesota to Joseph and Anna (Eichers) Schafer. She married John G. "Jack" Fischer on February 15, 1936 in St. Cloud. Agnes lived in St. Cloud all of her married life. She was a member of Holy Spirit parish and the Christian Women.
She is survived by her daughters, Lois Salmon and Sue Hagen-Moody of Plymouth; son, John and his wife Josie of St. Cloud; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John "Jack" on November 14, 1962; daughter, Corinne "Connie" Krueger on November 9, 1998; great granddaughter, Laura Jean Swanson; brother, Marcus; sisters, Ann Nies, Rose Schneider, Mary Dietman, Appolonia Krier, Helen Walters, Alvina Ruhr, Catherine Delles and Alma Nieland. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
