Services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2004 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Mildred Anna Hemmesch age 76, who died Tuesday at her home. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday and from 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Parish prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. followed by the Golden Smiles. The Richmond Knights of Columbus will pray at 7:30 p.m.
Mildred was born in Richmond to Walter and Catherine (Ruegemer) Jungels. She married Norbert Hemmesch on October 25, 1950 in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Cold Spring, MN. Mildred and her husband farmed together until their retirement in 1993. She enjoyed her family, baking and sewing. Mildred was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish, Richmond.
Survivors include her husband, Norbert; children, Ronald of Richmond, Bernice (Warren) Eiden of Holdingford, Shirley (Ervin) Boeckers of Adell, Wisconsin, Dorothy Culver of Avon, Denis (Michelle) of Richmond and Linus (Judy) of Eden Valley; brothers, Cletus Jungels of St. Cloud, Harold (Lorraine) Jungels of Rockville, Wally (Joyce) Jungels of Sydney, MT, Stanley (Alice) Jungels of Cold Spring, Marvin (Linda) Jungels of St. Nicholas; sisters, Rita Schwartz of St. Nicholas and Esther (Gilbert) Brinker of Cold Spring and 18 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Patricia "Patsy" Hoffstrom and infant twin daughters.
