Loretta Schneider, age 72, formerly of St. Cloud, MN, died Monday, October 21, 2002 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 24, 2002 at 12:00 Noon at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home Chapel, Sauk Rapids, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at Good Shepherd Chapel. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Loretta Schneider was born April 14,1930 in Freeport, MN to Peter and Agatha (Hoeschen) Hiltner. She married Anthony C. Schneider on October 30,1949 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Freeport, MN. Loretta was employed as director of Family Planning in St. Cloud from 1969 to 1992. She was currently a resident of the Good Shepherd Community in Sauk Rapids, MN.
Survivors include a son, Michael T. Schneider of St. Cloud, MN; daughters, Cynthia (Butch) Goldenstein of St. Cloud, MN; Noel (Dean) Crosby of St. Cloud, MN; Nita (Jeff) Osman of Sierra Vista, AZ; Jane (Mike) Dukowitz of Cold Spring, MN; sister, Dorothy Glatzel of Santa Rosa, CA; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anthony, on February 23, 2002; three brothers and one sister.
