STRICKLAND, JAMES J., 86, of Crystal River, died Saturday (June 13, 1998) at Lifecare Center of Citrus County, Lecanto. He was a native and lifelong resident of Crystal River. He was a self-employed farmer and rancher and a representative for the former Cullison Meat Packing Co., Ocala. He was a Merchant Marine, a Mason and a former Citrus County Commissioner.
Survivors include four sisters, Addie and Lillian Bertine, both of Crystal River, Jessica Luther, Orlando, and Dorothy Milner, Clermont; two grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Strickland Funeral Home, Crystal River.
