Funeral services will be on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church in Paynesville, for Aurelia 'Rae' Thielen, age 69, of Paynesville, who died on Thursday at Koronis Manor. The Rev. Richard Leisen will officiate. Burial will be in Ebeneezer Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday between 5-8 p.m. at the Daniel-Anderson Funeral Home in Paynesville and on Monday one hour prior to services at the church. Parish Prayers will be at 7:30 p.m.
Aurelia was born May 2, 1932, in Richmond to Edward and Theresa (Kraemer) Thielen. She married Norman Liestman on December 3, 1996, in Paynesville. She was a resident of the Paynesville area most of her life. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
Survivors include her brothers and sisters, Lorraine Handrahan, Bloomington; Sally Olson, Minneapolis;
Celestine 'Cel' Thielen, St. Cloud; Marie Gruenes, Richmond; Isadore Thielen, St. Cloud; Rita Arnold, Blaine; & Larry Thielen, Zimmerman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Liestman, July 1997; and 1 brother, Sylvester Thielen.
